What is MISHMISH

Mishmish is a third culture Middle Eastern Bakery & Cafe dedicated to serving food and drink inspired by the tastes, techniques, and traditions that have been with our families for generations and the celebration of the adaptations that have come from who and where we are now.

We proudly make everything in-house and always strive for the highest standards in everything we do. The Line/Prep Cooks will be responsible for prepping all menu ingredients and working on the line during service.

Role Responsibilities

  • Uphold standards for quality, cleanliness, daily equipment maintenance, organization, and safety in all areas of the kitchen.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities with the ability to stay calm under pressure

  • Time management skills and the ability to work on their own or as part of a team

  • Communicate clearly with management and the rest of the team.

  • Ability to follow instructions and training based on guides and training materials.

  • Be respectful of coworkers


Qualifications

  • 1+ years minimum experience working in a high-production restaurant or cafe

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining quality and consistency without compromise

  • Ability to work efficiently and cleanly

  • Punctuality and ability to work early mornings, if needed


Position Details

  • Wage - $18/hr + Tips.

  • Hours - Full-time or Part-time 8-hour shifts.

  • Benefits - Extended health benefits (available within 6 months) for FT staff.

  • Discounts - Free meal & drink on shift and discounts when off shift.
