ABOUT US

MISHMISH (مشمش), meaning “apricot” in Arabic, is a third-culture Middle Eastern Bakery & Café dedicated to serving food and drink inspired by the tastes and traditions that have been with our families for generations.

Chef/Owners Abdallah El Chami, and Leah Christ work together to honor tradition while celebrating the occasional adaptation that comes from embracing and intertwining each other’s backgrounds.

These “loving marriages” (as we like to call them) are the reason creations like the, Baklava Cream Top, Hareeseh-inspired Coconut Cake or the streusel-topped Mishmish Bar have come to be.

Designer/Owner Shawn Rassekh of
RAAF Projects has masterfully crafted a space that harmoniously blends warmth and natural light with sleek, industrial elements. The design achieves a delicate balance, where soft, inviting tones and organic materials coexist seamlessly, creating a sophisticated, yet welcoming environment that feels both innovative and timeless.

We’ve partnered with our friends,
Modus Coffee & Tea Sparrow to share our favorite coffee and teas with you!
